5 Things You Need To Know About BTS

Kpop boy group, BTS, are taking the world by a storm after recently winning Top Social Artist Award on Billboards, they successful are the first kpop group to be awarded this.

I know you might be wondering, who the hell are these people?! Don’t worry, I’m here to tell you all the things you need to know about BTS. . .

1. Their names. . .

Their band name, BTS stands for ‘Bulletproof Boy Scouts’  and it consists of 7 members. They are called:

Rap Monster (Leader, Rapper, Vocals)

Jhope ( Rapper, Main dancer )

Suga ( Rapper )

Jin ( Vocals, Visual, Oldest )

V (Vocals)

Jimin ( Vocals, Dancer )

Jungkook ( Vocals )

2. Their fandom. . .

Their fandom is called A.R.M.Y, it is actually an acronym for Adorable Representative M.C for Youth. A.R.M.Y are known for being consistent and very supportive to BTS.

3. Other Awards. . .

They have won loads of awards in Korea, some of these are: Seoul music awards, MAMAs, Shorty Awards for best in music, Golden Disc Award Global K-Pop Artist.

4. Albums. . .

They have 10 albums all together, their most popular albums are: WINGS, The Most Beautiful Moment in Life: Young Forever and You will Never Walk Alone. Other albums are: Youth, Dark and Wild, Wake Up, Skool Luv Affair, O!RUL8,2 , The Most Beautiful Moment in Life : Part 1 and Part 2.

5. Fun Facts. . .

Most of the members in BTS speak Japanese and Chinese, the Leader ( Rap Monster ) speaks fluent English.

Their favourite American artists are, A$AP Rocky, Lil Wayne, Drake, Tinashe, Frank Ocean, Nicki Minaj, Justin Bieber, Charile Puth, etc.

Their songs speak more about youths, female empowerment, mental health, Korean politics etc. Which sets them aside from other kpop groups and make them more unique.

Rap Monster, Jhope and Suga are also solo artists. Suga is also known as Agust D and Jhope is also known as Jay.

They are under BigHit Entertainment. It’s not
