Barbie X OhMostWanted : A Review on This Matte-nificent Collaboration

Note: These products were generously sponsored by OhMostWanted Cosmeceuticals.

OhMostWanted Cosmetics is back at it again with 2 new product releases but this time; it’s a matte-nificent collaboration with Barbie! That’s right, folks! OhMostWanted Cosmetics has released a new range of products with a collaboration with Mattel and it’s the first Malaysian brand to do so. Barbie’s motto, “You Can Be Anything”, had definitely inspired many girls across a plethora of backgrounds over the years especially with its rising diversity campaigns which practices inclusivity and it’s mass outreach for girls to Dream Bigger. Sharing the same vision with Barbie, OhMostWanted Cosmetics also aims to inspire girls to be confident inside out especially in their own skin and to live their own lives to the fullest. The Barbie X OhMostWanted Collection consists of 2 new releases; OhMostWanted Faultless Foundation with SPF 35 and OhMostWanted Pout-fect Lips(Barbie Edition). I’ve tried out the products for a span of 1 week and I have a lot to share with y’all. Without further delay, here’s my product-by-product analysis of this new collection!

Infused with vitamin E; a natural antioxidant, argan oil; a moisturizing agent, stearic acid, which aids in unclogging pores and centella asiatica which has anti-aging, anti-acne and anti-wrinkle properties; this medicated foundation definitely acts as a 2-in-1 product which doubles as your go-to skincare product and as a beauty product. So, here’s my verdict for this product. This foundation comes in 3 shades and I tried Shade 02, which is a natural color. The coverage of the foundation is buildable so, that means, if you would like to opt for that no-makeup makeup look on a daily basis, look no further because this foundation has got you covered! The formulation of this foundation is quite lightweight hence, you would not feel the burden of having makeup on your face especially when you’re constantly on-the-go. This foundation could even be used to fix dark circles or even blemishes so, it also functions as a concealer. So, you don’t have to worry about having a whole line-up of beauty products decked on your dresser just to get ready for college. I’m a college student myself, so, the durability of the makeup is something that  I look forward in a specific product especially, since I have to go through a daily ordeal of classes, club meetings and a night out with my friends. This foundation does not require me to check my reflection in the mirror for the umpteenth time so, it’s definitely long lasting. Post using this foundation for 3 days, I’ve begun to notice a some changes to my acne scars. They’ve started to fade slightly, but maybe not significantly. Perhaps, if I continuously use it for 2-3 weeks straight, I would notice some serious changes to the intensity of the acne scars. Application wise, I’ll always use my trusty beauty blender from OhMostWanted so, I don’t face any difficulties in using it. I’ve done a review on it a few months back, so, please do check it out too! The foundation caters for all skin types and especially, for oily skinned people like me. One pump of the product is sufficient to give a full coverage for my skin to last a whole day come rain or shine.

Now, this is a limited edition matte liquid lipstick that “You’ll Be Matte-ly in Love!” with. This collection comes in 3 different, specially formulated shades of pink which is, 1959 (peach in color), Hustle and Dream (rosy mauve) and Like A Boss (hot pink). My personal fave is Like A Boss as it gives me the extra boost of confidence whenever I use it. Its very synonymous to the name of the shade itself. 1959 gives me extreme retro vibes and Hustle and Dream is perfect for those who want to look both glam but not too overboard. One swipe of an applicator is all you need and it’s not tedious to remove it too after a tiring day. Just like the Faultless Foundation; the liquid lipsticks have some healing benefits too. One of it is that they prevent dry and chapped lips and they actually heal those problems too because they’ve been infused with Vitamin E, which is a powerful antioxidant. Hence, they even moisturize the lips with the presence of argan oil and black seed oil. From a personal perspective, it has worked wonders on me and I hope it works on y’all too! Below are the color swatches of all the 3 shades:
