Presented by the Observatory OC, this would only be the festival’s second year in existence, and the excitement around it and its lineup is starting to grow once again after last year’s festival. The festival had the next top artists and SoundCloud rappers, as well as established rappers, in its lineup that perfectly represents this generation’s new hip-hop. From artists like Lil Uzi Vert, Playboi Carti, A$AP Rocky, Post Malone, YG, Seshollowaterboyz, $uicideBoy$, etc., etc. (really, the list goes on and on), much hype gathered around the festival when the 2016 lineup was announced since it seemed like it would be unlike any other music festival we’ve seen. From many reviews and experiences from other music publications, the festival can be summed up as a chaotic mess that was extremely fun with a good lienup. I’m sure fans are expecting the same with comments from people such as “Round 2?,” @’ing their friends under the photo of the 2017 lineup posted on Twitter. This year’s headliners, judging from the photo, will be Kid Cudi, Travis Scott and Kendrick Lamar.

The lineup again features an array of new wave rap stars and the biggest names in music right now from Kendrick Lamar to Princess Nokia, to Pouya and Famous Dex and SZA — theres something for everyone. You’ll for sure catch the biggest influencers and stars in young Hollywood there, and this festival is on its way to becoming the prime event for hip-hop in today’s youth.

The festival will be taking place September 8-10, and will most likely be held once again at Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, CA. Tickets have yet to go on sale.
