Klein clames to have written the entire sophomore album at the beginning of 2018 after experiencing what he calls his first real heartbreak. “I never felt a pain like that. I’m not trying to be dramatic here. I think that was the first time I’ve ever been in love, and I never felt anything like that in my life,” he tells

He says the album is called “Malibu Nights” because it was more in sync with his own experience but that it will music that everyone will be able to relate to even if they didn’t necessarily go trough a heartbreak.

He says that best advice he can give to someone going trough something like this is allowing them to feel it. And also to be honest about how you feel, not hiding it. With yourself and with others because eventually everything will be okay again.
