Meet the New Models Walking in the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show

The Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show is a highly anticipated annual event featuring models wearing bejeweled lingerie. Each year veteran models, such as Barbara Palvin, Behati Prinsloo, and Karlie Kloss, grace the runway. However, this year over a dozen new models have been chosen to represent Victoria’s Secret.

1. Willow Hand

Willow Hand is an American fashion model who is best known for opening for Prada’ A/W fashion show at only 16-years-old. She also walked for Miu Miu at Paris Fashion Week. She has also walked for Tommy Hilfiger, Gucci, Zac Posen, Alexander McQueen, and many more influential designers.

2. Myrthe Bolt

Myrthe Bolt is a model from the Netherlands. She is signed with Next Model Management and walked for Versus Versace at London Fashion Week last year. She has walked for Alberta Ferretti, Max Mara, Chanel, and Paul & Joe.

Melie Tiacoh will be the first Ivorian and Guinean model walking in the 2018 Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She is also signed with Next Models Management. She has been on the cover of Seven Tribes Magazine and has shot for LOOKBOOK.

Iesha Hodges is a black model who is signed with One Management. She is the winner of the Ford and V Magazine’s joint modeling competition in 2014. She modeled for Wonderland Magazine and walked for Miu Miu and Oscar de la Renta.

5. Maia Cotton

Maia Cotton is one of New Zealand’s top models. She is signed with 62 Management and has appeared in Denizen magazine and ads for American Eagle. She began her modeling career at 15-years-old.

6. Yasmin Wijnaldum

Yasmin Wijnaldum is a Dutch model. At only 17-years-old, she became the face of Prada. She has walked for Valentino, Kenzo and Loewe, and Chloe. In 2015, she landed her first magazine cover for Vogue Japan. She has also done advertising with Holt Renfrew and Versace.

7. Sabah Koj

Sabah Koj was discovered at the Miss South Sudan beauty pageant. She became the first black, dark-skinned woman to open a Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia show. She opened the George Alice show. She has walked for multiple couture shows, including Giorgio Armani.

8. Isilda Moreira

Isilda Moreira is a Portuguese model. She has walked for Brandon Maxwell, Ulyana Sergeenko, Hermes, and Andrew Gn. She is signed to Elite Model Management and she appeared in Vogue Portgual.

9. Mayowa Nicholas

Mayowa Nicholas is a Nigerian fashion model. She made fashion model history by being the first Nigerian model to appear in Dolce & Gabbana, Saint Laurent, and Calvin Klein campaigns. In 2017, she walked for Chanel and Miu Miu in Europe. Also, Nicholas was a finalist of the 2014 Elite Model Look contest.

Alannah Walton is an Australian model signed with IMG Models. Her first runway walk was in 2016 at Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Australia. Mario Testino, a famous photographer, shot Walton for Vogue Magazine.

Josie Canseco is a Cuban-American model born to Jose Canseco, a major league baseball player, and Jessica Sekley. She has walked for Frankies Bikinis and Sherry Hill. She has modeled for Victoria’s Secret PINK ads and has walked on the Moschino runway.

12. Cheyenne Maya Carty

Cheyenne Maya Carty is a half Mauritian and half Jamaican model from London. Her first modeling gig was for the launch of Rihanna’s River Island collection. She has walked in multiple fashion shows in London and New York. She has also been featured in Elle, Marie Claire, Harper’s Bazaar, Vogue Italy, and WONDERLAND.

13. Lorena Rae

Lorena Rae is a German model and is signed with PMA modeling agency along with Wilhemina modeling agency. She is also the L’Oreal Brand ambassador. She has shot for OOB Magazine and was rumored to be Leonardo DiCaprio’s girlfriend.

14. Kelsey Merritt

Kelsey Merritt is the first Filipina model to walk for Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show. She appeared in a Maybelline cosmetics ad. She became a sports model for Victoria’s Secret. And she did a photo shoot for Vera Wang’s bridal collection. She has also appeared in Preview Magazine multiple times.

15. Duckie Thot

Duckie Thot is an Australian model but her family is from South Sudan. On the 8th cycle of Australia’s Next Top Model, she finished in third place. Her first runway walk was for Yeezy and she was the lead model in Pirelli’s Alice in Wonderland Calendar. She has gained a lot of social media attention from being the face of Fenty Beauty. She signed with New York Model Management when she came to America to expand her modeling career. Also, Thot has done campaigns for Fenty x Puma, Fenty Beauty, Moschino, and Oscar de la Renta.

16. Sofie Grace Rovenstine

Sofie Grace Rovenstine is an American model signed with IMG Models. She cleverly used her platform as Miss Tennessee Teen USA to help underprivileged orphans and disabled children. Along with having a degree in International Affairs, she traveled to Europe and has worked with designers; such as Zac Posen and Carolina Herrera.

17. Winnie Harlow

Winnie Harlow is a Canadian fashion model best known for being on the 21st cycle of America’s Next Top Model. Harlow has a skin condition called vitiligo, but that has not stopped her from booking jobs. After being eliminated from ANTM, she modelled for Desigual, a Spanish clothing line. In 2014, she walked for Ashish at London Fashion Week. Also, she has appeared in Marie Claire and Love Magazine.

18. Sadie Newman

Sadie Newman is an English model represented by Wilhemina Models. She has walked in New York Fashion Week. Other than being a model, Newman guest starred in the hit crime TV show, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit. She has shot for fashion photographer, Michal Rzepecki, and has done advertising with Victoria’s Secret the summer of 2018.

These eighteen amazing models will put on a great performance at this year’s fashion show sponsored by Victoria’s Secret. The fashion show’s location has yet to be announced and will  most likely take place in November or December.
