Playboy’s Awesome Transgender Playmate Is Pissing Off DudeBros And We’re So Here For It

On October 18th, Playboy released a profile on their newest playmate, 26-year-old Ines Rau. The news quickly went viral, sparking outrage from several sad and angry grown men who tweeted their thoughts from their mom’s basement. Now you might be asking yourself “what’s the big deal?” and to that I say: There is no big deal. Ines Rau just happens to be transgender.

People have said that being transgender goes against the laws of nature, but they’re the same people who aren’t doing anything to help nature. If I want to get a sex change, it’s between myself and my body. I could hide it, but I don’t, because I respect people.

Now I know the internet is notorious for giving a voice to those who remain anonymous and seemingly think they’re “all powerful” behind their computer screens, but the comments under Playboy’s tweet announcing Ines as the newest playmate are disgusting.

It’s clear the dudebros are just upset that Ines Rau is yet another beautiful woman they won’t ever get to touch or lay eyes on in person. The laughable thing is (besides their crumbling masculinity and weak sexuality) that Ines isn’t actually the first transgender woman to be a part of Playboy. The haters are just trying to find a place to put their anger about their own sad lives when they will probably still be buying and enjoying all of Ines Rau’s upcoming work.

Where there are haters there are also defenders and activists, several of whom came to Ines’ defense:

We’re here for Ines Rau and totally on her team! But thanks white and straight men for once again lowering the bar for how weak and fragile your “heterosexuality” and “manhood” really are.
