Highly revered alternative rock band, The 1975 have just released their second single, “Love It If We Made It”, from their forthcoming album A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships.
Following the band’s release to last month’s dizzying “Give Yourself A Try,” the latest single copiously tears into our epoch’s political issues; including references to Black Lives Matter, the late rapper Lil Peep, and even that infamous 2005 Access Hollywood interview with President Donald Trump (You know exactly which one I’m talking about.) If that isn’t nearly enough to reel you in, there’s also a lyric where frontman Matty Healy says “Poison Me Daddy.”
Take a listen below.
A Brief Inquiry Into Online Relationships will be released later this year, followed by Notes On a Conditional Form early 2019.
