What inspires your art?
“A lot of things inspire me, but the thing that inspires me most would be women, especially women of color, and their strength and beauty that often goes so unnoticed. Bright colors, and patterns also influence my work and I try to incorporate those elements in every piece I make.”
What caused you to begin doing art?
“I always loved to draw since I was a kid and never thought anything of it at the time, but when I was in high school and I really got a better grasp on my skills I fell in love immediately and I knew I had to show the world what I could do.”
What makes you different from all the other artists?
“I’m pretty traditional in a sense, I’m an illustrator that only does their work with color pencil and paper, I make everything by hand unlike most people who make everything digitally.”
Is there anything weird you do before, during, or after doing an art piece?
“Dance breaks! While I’m working I typically listen to music and when I need a little break from it I just have a little dance session by myself and then keep going afterwards!”
What can we expect from you in the near future?
“More growth in my skills of course, but also more experimenting with different styles and techniques this is only the beginning for me and I only hope people will join and stick with me through it all!”
