As many were expecting, SZA is about to embark on a North American tour in support of her debut album Ctrl (2017).
The tour has 44 dates across America and Canada, and her opening acts will consist of Ravyn Lenae and Smino.
Both Lenae and Smino are part of music collective Zero Fatigue and have come up on the R&B and rap radar as of recent. With stunning visuals in her music videos and a voice that matches, up-and-coming 17-year-old artist Ravyn Lenae is well deserving of this spot on SZA’s tour. She has recently released her debut EP Midnight Moonlight and you can stream it now on SoundCloud, Spotify, Google Play and Apple Music. Smino has also recently released his debut album blkswn (2017) and went on his own tour Swanita for the past couple of months. Right off the tour the group and Smino released a new single “Manegos,” as well.
This will be the biggest tour SZA has gone on yet, hitting various cities throughout a four-month period beginning in August all the way into December. Her latest performance was at the 2017 BET Awards where she performed the songs “Love Galore” featuring Travis Scott, and “The Weekend.” Both songs have become fan favorites from the album, which hit 60,000 units in its first week and debuted at number 3 on the Billboard 200. Least to say she’s had a very successful debut album and her tour is sure to be just as amazing.
