Wondering about what to expect from the newest Star Wars movies in production? We’ve got you covered.

According to Mashable, Disney CEO Bob Iger released some important clues as to what we will see from Han Solo in his stand-alone movie and The Last Jedi at his interview with the dean of USC’s Annenberg school, Willow Bay. Ben Fritz from the Wall Street Journal dropped some of these hints on his Twitter account Thursday.

Iger says that Mark Hamil’s Luke Skywalker will have “a big role in episode 8”.

This excites fans, as they were left on a cliffhanger after The Force Awakens ended with a lack on interaction with Skywalker. Fans of the franchise will definitely be looking forward to seeing Mark Hamil reprise his role as Luke Skywalker.

Also, Ben Fritz reports again that Han Solo’s film will extend through his life, “from age 18 through 24”. It will also include the first encounter between Chewbacca as well as his finding the Millennium Falcon.

A sort of origin story, Han Solo’s film seems to cover all fan questions and concerns about Solo’s past.

With the country setting their eyes on these new films that reboot their past, every ounce of information pertaining to Star Wars is valuable. I guess now’s a good time to start the countdown to May 2018…
