Wedding bells are ringing for Shane Dawson and Ryland Adams!
Master conspiracist, filmmaker and YouTube sensation, Shane Dawson announced his engagement to fellow YouTube star, Ryland Adams on March 19. Dawson posted photographs to Twitter which showcase a teary-eyed Adams displaying his new ring while celebrating with Dawson. Dawson’s caption reads, “HE SAID YES!!!!!! :’)))))”

The YouTube couple began dating in 2016 and have since documented their relationship on social media including both of their YouTube channels, where adoring fans have gotten a sneak peek into their captivating relationship. From switching lives for the day to ghost hunting in supposedly haunted hotels and photographing adorable pictures of their pets, Shane and Ryland have easily become a treasured couple amongst dedicated fans and followers, who track the couple with the hashtag #Shyland.

Despite the couple often being the center of attention in regards to both drama and gossip in the media, both Shane and Ryland have made it crystal clear that they refuse to let rumors and negativity ruin, let alone influence their relationship. In a recent tweet regarding the celebratory news, Ryland expressed his excitement over the engagement. The tweet read, “I can’t wait to spend the rest of my life with you . . . I’ve never been happier in my whole entire life!!” The tweet was paired with endearing images of the newly engaged couple donning ecstatic smiles.

Shane, who has been in the public eye since the start of his YouTube journey in 2008, has experienced plenty of ups and downs in both his public and private life, ultimately documenting a few of his struggles and achievements for fans on YouTube. This includes his fight with depression in 2012 and his coming out video which was viewed by millions of fans in 2015. By now, many people can agree that the hardworking YouTube star deserves to be happy. Following the announcement, Dawson took to Twitter once again to express his love and appreciation toward his dedicated fanbase as the congratulations poured in.
