Christmas Movies You Have to Watch This Holiday Season

December 21, 20172 min read

It’s finally that time of year! The ginger bread houses, fresh decorated trees, hot chocolate and long family visits are here. And what better way than to watch movies with your family in the living room? These four Christmas movies are sure to make everyone laugh this holiday season.

Dr. Seuss’ How The Grinch Stole Christmas

The Grinch is a greedy hater of Christmas and of the fellow citizens of Whoville. Along with the company of his dog, Max, he dresses himself up as Santa to sneak into homes to steal presents and everything else of the holiday spirit in order to ruin Christmas. During his plan, he meets Cindy Lou, a little girl that turns his views and thoughts about Christmas and himself upside down.

The Nightmare Before Christmas

Halloweentown’s Pumpkin King, Jack Skellington, becomes tired of scaring people in the real world. When he discovers Christmastown, he sees the amazing colors and jolly cheers and plans to take over Christmas. Kidnapping Santa Claus is his first step of taking control of Christmas. But what happens next?

Home Alone

Kevin McCallister is accidentally left home alone, while his family is on their way to Paris for Christmas vacation. A house to himself is a dream come true, and he plans to do whatever he wants. But when he learns that two burglars are going to rob his house, he sets up booby traps to get them caught.

Christmas With the Kranks

Luther and Nora Krank decide to skip Christmas and go on a cruise while their daughter is away, but their Christmas-obsessed neighbors give them a hard time leading up to Christmas day itself. When their daughter calls to let them know she’s returning with her fiance on Christmas Eve and that she expects a Christmas party, they ask their neighbors to help with the couple of hours they have left. Will they be able to pull off the Christmas party in time?
