If you felt as if you were floating in the clouds while your soul danced in your body in the last 24 hours then you must’ve been listening to BØRNS’ new single, Faded Heart.
Garrett Borns, who is commonly known as BØRNS, is a Michigan native who is taking the music world by storm. BØRNS first debuted his first album, Dopamine, in 2015, which reinvented all there was to indie-pop music with his mystical melodies and enchanting lyrics. BØRNS is once again reinventing indie-pop music and taking the nation by storm with newest single, Faded Heart.
According to Consequence of Sound, Faded Heart is the first single from BØRNS’ upcoming album set to release in January 2018. The song was inspired by these three songs:

Search and Destroy by The Stooges
Girl in the Thunderbolt Suit by T. Rex
Faded Heart has an electric 60’s vibe to it with its radical guitar strings. Its colorful tone sets the mood with its extravagant lyrics such as, “so call me your Romeo/ I’ll show the way my thunderbird sings”. Between BØRNS’ spellbinding voice and poetic verses, this song will make you feel like you’re in an entirely different galaxy. We are all looking forward to hearing more from BØRNS and his wonderful sounds.
