Governors Ball, a music festival in New York City is in its eight-year and it is sure to be the perfect way to start off summer. Because where else would you want to start summer 2k18 than in one of the greatest cities in the world and at one of the biggest music festivals in the country?

I could literally go on for so long and tell you all the amazing names, but you would be here for so long because there are so many amazing performers on this year’s lineup. But Governors Ball has more than just music, the festival is a mixing pot of what NYC has to offer with amazing food and art.
Gov Ball is known for serving up some amazing art, and this year is no exception. With super cool art installations by Adam Fu, But Like Maybe, and more, you will find some of the coolest art to get inspired by.

The food in New York is next level; it’s one of the perks of living in this multicultural and creative city. It’s something that I have missed so much since I have moved out of the city. At Gov Ball, there is such an amazing mix of food that I can not wait to try. There is Instagram-explore-page-worthy food like Sam’s Fried Ice Cream, New Territories, and Stuffed Ice Cream.
