Governor’s Ball – The Music Festival Making a Difference

January 25, 20222 min read

Festivals are coming back in a big way. Governor’s Ball returns to kick off the summer! Mark your calendars for Friday, June 10th through Sunday, June 12 at Citi Field at Queens. This will be the festival’s second year at Citi Fields in the festival’s 11-year history. The festival has chosen this location due to its proximity to subways, buses, and the Long Island Rail Road. The stadium’s easy access allows for more flexibility with potential weather events.

Now on to the line-up…

The lineup is insane with 60+ acts, it might be the best we have seen this year. It will be headlined by Kid Cudi on June 10, Halsey on June 11, and J. Cole on June 12, who is very familiar with Queens as a graduate of St. John’s University. Performers for this year’s festival include Flume, Playboi Carti, Roddy Ricch, Glass Animals, Migos, Jack Harlow, Kaytranada, Joji, Louis The Child, Clairo, Jazmine Sullivan, Still Woozy, 100 Gets, Japanese Breakfast, Becky G, Black Pumas and many more.

Much bigger than the music, this year Governor’s Ball promoters Founders Entertainment will make a $25,000 donation to the New York City Mayor’s Fund’s relief efforts for the victims of the Bronx apartment building fire. This type of donation shows their dedication to giving back to the local community.

Tickets for 3-day and 1-day general admission and VIP tickets will be available for purchase on their website on Jan. 27 at noon ET. Payment plans are available. You can check out the complete lineup below:
