Imagine having to spend hours in front of your vanity mirror just to achieve that no-makeup makeup look that you’ve watched on YouTube, only to find out that you’ve been applying layers of foundation into a cakey texture! The horror does not stop there. You still have to go through the daunting task of removing the product from your face, which is an art to master by itself. You need to cleanse your face thoroughly to prevent your pores from clogging up which would eventually lead to frequent BREAKOUTS.
If there was a way to simplify your daily makeup routine, wouldn’t it be great? Well, fret not! Recently, I’ve had the opportunity to review Muka & Co’s Tint Glo Serum, and I’m absolutely amazed by it. Here’s my take on it:
THE OUTLOOK
Enclosed in a cute little glass bottle, the Tint Glo Serum looked absolutely classy in all its glory. It was really convenient to use as it had a dropper, which also made it all the more hygienic. You can just drop the serum directly onto your face without much of a hassle and blend it well using a beauty blender. The dropper also enables you to control the amount of serum you use without forcing yourself to apply a whole lot of product onto your face.
The Tint Glo Serum is travel-friendly because, in addition to its convenient usage, it has a pretty convenient packaging too. It includes an outer box to protect any mishaps from possible errors, making it user-friendly.
THE SERUM
Being a college student myself, getting ready for my classes is simply hectic. I have always hoped for having a simpler makeup routine, and now I’ve found one! The Tint Glo Serum, which is an all-in-one makeup product with moisturizer, serum, primer, foundation, concealer and sunscreen packed up in a 30 ml bottled goodness, not only provides you with that no-makeup makeup look that everyone desires on a daily basis. It functions as a perfect post-procedure cream used to treat, hydrate, prime, protect and camouflage the skin with the presence of natural ingredients such as cluster bean, argon oil, virgin coconut oil and black seed oil. The best part of this serum is that it’s the only skincare product that you would ever need after cleansing your face. This is due to the fact that you would also receive the exact same skincare benefits of a serum such as a less oily complexion, fewer breakouts and brightening of the skin. It’s a mineral-based product, suitable for all skin types, including normal, dry, oily and combination skin.
I’ve used the Tint Glo Serum for a week in college whilst surviving a great ordeal of classes and activities, and I would definitely give this product a double thumbs up for doing a great job on my skin. I actually have oily skin, especially on my T-zone so, the usage of the wrong kind of products would definitely cause frequent breakouts. At first, I was quite skeptical about using the Tint Glo Serum, but I decided to try it out in the shade of Medium Glo. Turns out, it has become my favorite go-to product on an everyday basis and here’s why.
This serum was absolutely easy to apply on my skin with a buildable coverage according to the amount of serum applied. I only needed a beauty blender to achieve my desired look, so I did not need to have a trip to my local retailer to get a makeup brush. It did not feel sticky and was really blendable. It definitely saved my time as I got my face done in 15 minutes, which is much shorter in comparison to my usual 30 minutes regime. Post-application, I realized that this product does not really state its presence on my skin as it gives a natural glow. It was unquestionably light on my skin as though there was no makeup on my skin. My skin looked softer, and my post-acne scars were completely taken care of as though they had vanished into thin air. I didn’t even have the need to use a concealer throughout my makeup regime!
Now, the major issue that I face post-makeup application, is the oil from my skin damaging my makeup on my face by leaving irregular patches on my face. Ever since I’ve used the serum, I didn’t have to worry about this issue. It actually stays on your skin until you wash it off after a long and tiring day. On top of that, the serum does not turn darker or grayer under the exposure of light due to oxidation as it has 0% oxidation properties. A huge plus point of this product is that it didn’t cause any breakouts on my skin. The presence of SPF 35 in the serum protects my skin from the Sun’s harmful ultraviolet rays (UV) too. While applying the serum could be fun, the process of removing it from your face could be a daunting task for many. However, the serum is easily removable with just the help of your trusty facial wash. At the end of the week, I realized that my skin did not only looked softer than before but it also felt soft and my post-acne scars have started fading away.
