Dua Lipa is an English singer-songwriter, signed to Warner Bros Records is the first solo female to have a UK number one single since Adele’s “Hello” in 2015.

Phil Christie, president of Warner Bros. Records UK, said: “Dua’s talent has never been in any doubt. A number one single at this stage in the campaign is a hugely significant milestone on the road to her becoming a global pop star. It’s the result of three years of hard work and creativity from Dua, Ben and the team at Tap Management, and the whole of WB Records.”

“New Rules” is Dua Lipa’s first single to become number one, taken out from the self-entitled album that was released at the start of June.

Critiques called Dua “the real deal”, and they’re not wrong! From “Be The One” to “Hotter Than Hell” to her Martin Garrix collaboration, Dua releases only bangers!

The fame of the artist has grown considerably since the music video for “New Rules” was released last month. The music video has shortly gone viral with over 108 million views and became girls’ feminist anthem.

Now, Dua is enjoying the success of her debut album, touring around the world, thanks to her beautiful and amazing fans.
