Three Dark Kids’ TV Show Conspiracy Theories

August 22, 20183 min read

When it comes to watching kids’ television shows, children don’t really pay attention to the story-telling or the actual characters. We all giggled at the hilarious adventures of Spongebob and his best friend Patrick and dreamed of being part of the Sesame Street cast to meet all the funny creatures. Once we grow older, we stop watching those shows and forget. But if you rewatch them after reading these conspiracy theories, you will see everything differently.

1. Winne the Pooh and His Friends Have Psychological Disorders

To support this, the Canadian Medical Association took the time to diagnose all of the animals and revealed that this theory could actually be real. After watching one episode, you will see that Eeyore deals with clinical depression. Pooh has ADHD and OCD, Piglet suffers from generalized anxiety disorder, Tigger has ADHD alongside Pooh, Owl is dyslexic, and the human Christopher struggles with schizophrenia.

2. Rugrats are in Angelica’s Imagination

Get ready, this theory is darker than the rest. This theory reveals that Angelica was a bipolar schizophrenic since it includes the later spin-off, All Grown Up!. And when she grew into her teenage years, she became addicted to drugs which led to all the creation of the Rugrats in her mind.

In her fantasy, Tommy was stillborn which results in his father constantly making toys for his dead son. Chuckie and his mother died in the same moment. Phil and Lil were aborted by their mother but Angelica didn’t know what the sex could’ve been so she created them as twins.

At the end of All Grown Up!, she apparently died from an overdose at the age of 13.

3. Arnold’s Parents Aren’t Dead

The Nickelodeon hit show, Hey Arnold!, is about a young boy with a football-shaped head who lives with his grandparents because his parents died when he was younger. In this theory, Arnold’s parents are actually the people who claim to be his grandparents. Apparently, Arnold was born with Arnold Chiari Syndrome since Gertie and Phil had him later in life which is why he has an odd shaped head. He gets bullied because of this. Arnold also struggles with several different psychological conditions that lead him to develop a fantasy life and friends.
