All You Need To Know About The New Jaclyn Hill Palette

July 3, 20173 min read

Jaclyn Hill is one of the most well-known beauty gurus, with 4.1 million subscribers, 4.2 million Instagram followers, and 822k Twitter followers. Her Youtube videos average from 600k – 1.4 Million views. She started her YouTube channel in 2011 and since then, has had multiple collaborations with brands like Becca Cosmetics and Morphe.

Jaclyn Hill is seen as an inspiration to millions of young girls worldwide. She has opened up about her anxiety and the previous financial troubles that she had with her husband Jon Hill. She uses her platform to remain real with her subscribers with honest reviews to stories about the reality of being a woman with such a strong following, and unfortunately, quite a lot of hate. She tends to preach against cyberbullying, as people continuously criticize and dissect her online.

After two years in the making, Jaclyn recently launched another collaboration with Morphe, the Jaclyn Hill palette.

The palette sold out within 43 minutes, surprising probably everyone except for her following. Her subscribers are probably some of the most supportive, determined women out there and when a new beauty product launches, particularly one so hyped as this one, it’s no surprise that beauty enthusiasts everywhere were dying to get their hands on it.

The palette has mixed reviews: for the most part, the countless swatches and beauty tutorials are positive. However, there are a few beauty influencers who keep it real, like Samantha Ravndahl. The best advice I can give is to take each review with a grain of salt: what works for some people, will not necessarily work for everyone.

The palette itself is a mix between pops of colors and warm everyday neutrals. As an owner of the palette, I would say that the palette deserves the hype that it has attained. Morphe has great quality eyeshadow palettes for an affordable price, offering versatility and a new formula.

After working 2 years on her dream palette, I would say that this endeavor has been a hit for Jaclyn Hill, who, from her posts on social media, is overjoyed by the well-deserved love she has received from the makeup community as a whole.

Morphe has announced that there will be a restock of the palette in the near future, but so far, the restock date is yet to be announced.
