The 25-year old pop singer, Louis Tomlinson drops his first debut solo single as a solo artist. He previously lent his vocals on Steve Aoki’s smash hit, Just Hold On back in December of 2016.
The refreshing summer single, Back to You features vocals from American pop-singer, Bebe Rexha and production from Digital Farm Animals. The single was co-written by Tomlinson and has been announced as the first single from his upcoming debut solo album which is due for release this fall.
In a promotional interview with BBC, Tomlinson explains why he starts the song with Bebe Rexha’s vocals. “We recorded a version where I sang first – but you’ve got to do what’s best by the song,” he said to BBC the day before the release. “With the emotion she gives it, and the way she opens up the song, it always had to be her, really.”
The British pop singer also dropped the music video for Back to You hours after the single was released worldwide. The video takes place in Tomlinson’s home town Doncaster, England.
And if you haven’t seen the video, Tomlinson and Rexha are absolutely adorable in it.
