“BoJack Horseman” has been confirmed for a fifth season not too long after the show’s release of Season 4 on Netflix, allowing fans to breathe knowing that their favorite depressed horse’s story will continue. A creative, fourth-wall breaking video was posted on the show’s Twitter and Instagram accounts to relay the news.

The video features BoJack’s phone as it receives multiple text messages from a “clingy Netflix exec” who says:
“Hey BoJack, it’s Netflix.”
“We would have called but we remember how angry you got last time because we interrupted your nap…”
“Anyway, big news!”
“You’re back for a Season 5!”
“So keep up the good work and see you on set soon!”
“Clingy” certainly fits the Netflix executive’s description.
Additionally, Tweets from cast members reveal that Season 5 is already in production.

If you haven’t seen “BoJack Horseman,” there are two questions for you: the first being “why are you reading this article?” and the second being “why haven’t you seen it?” The show takes place in a world where humans and animals alike attempt to come to terms with the complexities and pitfalls of life. “BoJack Horseman” has found a way to balance tragedy and absurdity with cleverly framed episodes and animal puns.
The first four seasons are available to watch on Netflix, and the fifth season will likely be released sometime in 2018.
